The Rule of 11

Most of us knows this already but for the ones who don't here it is...

11 being multiplied by 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

The answers are 3 digits...do you see the answer?

11x11=_ _ _ ...do you see the 1st and last digit (answer)? Here it is...
11x11=1_1 ...what would be the 2nd digit? How to get it? Just add 1+1=2...
11x11=121 ...let us try the next one without using calculator...

11x12=132... 1st digit is 1, 3rd digit is 2, and add 1+2 to get the 2nd digit
11x13=143... 1st digit is 1, 3rd digit is 3, and add 1+3 to get the 2nd digit

.
11x18=198...you should be able to get the answer mentally...

now the tricky one 11x19...since 9+1=10, 1 will be added to the 1st digit, middle will be 0 and the third digit will still be 9...so,

11x19=209!

This is just one of the short hand for computations...
Just like a book, where we read amazing stories and poetry, Mathematics has a story to tell...

It tells about us...our existance...our role in the universe...and the universe itself...We have only see and heard small piece of the increadible, amazing stories and poetry of the language of mathematics...

As we continue to decode and discover the language of mathematics, let us play and enjoy the ones that we could understand...

The Application

Repetitive events...we could learn from it. It may not be numbers which we human ingeniously develop to visually hold an Idea or a concept. In my world I see everything in patterns in the form of numbers, events and etc...

Experiences from others...I, you...we should learn from it. Let us take for example a relationship. It is quite common to see one who will dominate relationship...one who dictates to the other half how to act, think...in other words one will dictates and one will follow. As long as both parties agreed the leader, follower roles in the relationship but what if it goes to the extreme?...would one, the one being abuse mentally or physically have the courage to end the relationship?

As to what happenned to my dear friend that night after having their last dinner together...with "her"...I saw what happened in my mind and amplified it in my dream. She went to see him for the last time that night to tell him that she is seeing someone else, and that she wants to end the relationship. But that is not the reason why my dear friend was pushed to edge. Because of her cruelty, meaness..her verbal abuse caused him to lose his self steem...that finally pushed him to the edge...my friend's email to his brother confirmed what I invisioned to what happen that night...

[After she found out what happen, everyone saw her mourned, but not everyone saw the true meaning of her tears... is not tears of sorrow instead, it is a tears of joy...

"Enjoy yourself at this moment", I said to myself, "for this will be the last... tomorrow is the beginning of your miserable life without him...I could see bankraftcy...the guy that you replaced him with...he will leave you very soon...tragic after tragic after tragic will follow..."

I looked at her; She avoided me and looked the other way...]

Sometimes love blinds us and we could only see what we wanted to see. Traped in a repeatitive events which lead sometimes to tragedy. So before you do something foolish...think the pattern of life, learn from others...remember people might change but the events are the same...the cycle of life continue to repeat itself over and over again...learn from it...

The Answer

Almost a week now and I am still sick mentally and physically...I should say mentally and physically exhausted from something (?).

I took dozes of painkiller to relieve the pain but it did not work. Modern medicine man could not diagnose what is wrong with me...

Anyway...talking about loosing memory. I do not have a good memory...how I do it? In class? Okey here is the secret to get a high score on the exam...

In Math specially...it is a pattern and it is a repeatition of pattern. Of course you have to understand the material before you see patterns. Then, pay attention to the professor, and once again you can predict what will be on the exam by the way he delivers the material...the way he talks, the tone of his voice...and once again it is a repetition of behavior...a pattern of behavior...

Yes, I do not have a good memory and in Math...I like to see answers by looking at the questions given...I developed an easy way to get answer without memorization...

Math never change...at the early age I developed a method on how to see the answers from the given questions...one example..."The Rule of Nine" of course everyone of us (adults) knows this except the young ones...

Ok, for the young mind..here is the Rule of Nine: 9 being multiplied by 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 & 9...can you see the answer by looking at it?

The answer has two digit. the 1st digit is one less than the number being multiplied...
Here 9x2= 1_...9x3=2_...9x4=3_...9x9=8_. Do you see the pattern on the 1st digit?
Here 9x2=18...9x3=27...9x4=36...9x9=81. Do you see the pattern on the 2nd digit? Do you see 18, 27, 36...81. If you add 1 & 8 you get 9. So with the next ones...

To summarize the "Rule of Nine"

1. 9 being multiplied by 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 the 1st digit is least than number being multiplied

2. After having the 1st digit which are 1_, 2_, 3_, 4_, 5_, 6_, 7_, 8_ next is to get the 2nd digit of the answer: 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81..
*The 1st and 2nd digit of the answer always add up to nine: 1+8=9, 2+7=9....

or do you see another pattern..
9x2=18...how about 9x9=81
9x3=27...how about 9x8=72
9x4=36...how about 8x7=63

When I was 9th grade (?) taking the math exam, my classmate struggled to retrieved the answers from their memory while I was looking at the answers from the questions...

This trick is good for the kids who had trouble memorizing...like me...

Math is a repeatition...a patterns of numbers...and once you understand the patterns of numbers...you understand Math...

I think the medication is taking over finally...I needed a rest...

Patterns

Everything is all about patterns. Colors, Sizes, Shapes...

Things you see, hear or touch translates into patterns. For example, look around you how many shapes to you see...circle, triangle, square etc...a pattern of shapes which repeats around you.

How about the cycle of life... birth and death? Sunrise and sunset? Day and night? Pattern of events that repeats...with time...

Maybe how I see my world is quite different how you see your world...or perharps I am not alone...maybe we both see the same thing...we see patterns all around us...

Would you consider life is a pattern? My point? Nothing...just curious...
